Love Screensaver 1.0

According to Wallpaper Screensavers, who offers this screensaver free of charge to all Windows users, Love Screensaver is meant to celebrate love, “a constellation of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection.” The screensaver celebrates love by displaying images of flowers arranged in the shape of a heart, candles arranged in the shape of a heart, fruits arranged in the shape of a heart, and other heart-shaped images.

The screensaver uses various transition effects to switch from one image to another. By default it shows an image for 10 seconds, then switches to another image, displays that for another 10 seconds, then switches to another image, and so on and so on. From the screensaver’s settings pane you can adjust the length of time an image is displayed; you can also choose what transition effects the screensaver will use (by default all of them are selected).

There are a few other things you can do from the settings pane. You can adjust the speed of the transition effects, you can select the order in which the images will be displayed, you can adjust how the screensaver behaves (for example you can set it to ignore mouse moves and exit only when you press the ESC button), and you can enable the “Start image painting on Desktop” option (when the “Start image painting on Desktop” option is selected, the screensaver doesn’t just show up; it uses a transition effect to pop in).

Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, Love Screensaver provides support for Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, NT, Windows XP and Windows Vista. Tested the screensaver on Windows 7 and it seems to work fine on this Windows version as well.
Limitations – there are none since this application is freeware. You can use it free of charge for as long as you want.

• Changes Internet Explorer’s home page to knightstar.net; not your default browser’s homepage, IE’s homepage.
